It’s good to get away, even for just a few hours and reset. Dan and I moved back home with my family when we came back from London.
It has been challenging to live with others, as I am someone that loves space and solitude at home, which cannot always happen when living in a house of 6. 😂
Even though it has been wholesome and a lot of fun, I can feel overwhelmed at times and crave some peace in the chaos of this “in-between” season.
As I’ve mentioned before, stress management is something that I try to prioritise, as my body doesn’t always know how my mind is feeling.
Going to the beach helps me see that even when we can’t control the situation around us, we can always choose where to direct our attention.
I like to journal and pray in these times, but regardless of your personal beliefs, whatever brings you peace and solitude, can help in your every day.
