Creamy, nutty, sweet and salty porridge. One of the first flavours I dabbled in when I started making my own porridge, and it’s still a favourite.

Ingredients:
1/3 cup / 32g rolled oats
1/3 cup / 43g steel cut oats
1 cup / 255ml oat milk
1 cup / 218ml water
1/2 tsp / 2ml vanilla bean paste
2 tsp / 12ml maple syrup
Pinch sea salt

Toppings:
Toasted sesame seeds
Toasted buckwheat groats
Cacao nibs
Coconut yoghurt
Tahini
Maple syrup
Banana

Method:
1. Add all the porridge ingredients together in a pot
2. Cook for a min of 20 mins
3. Test the oats, wait until they are soft, when the oats are just starting to form again, serve into a bowl
4. Add toppings and enjoy!
