Mocha Chunk Smoothie Bowl

Mocha’s were my introduction to coffee, a delicious middle ground of bitter and sweet. This smoothie bowl has a creamy chocolatey coffee base with delicious chocolate chunks all throughout.

Serves 1-2 | V GF DF
Ingredients:
2 frozen bananas
1/4 cup frozen zucchini (optional)
1 espresso shot
1/4 cup almond milk
Handful ice
1 tsp maple syrup
1 1/2 tsp cacao
1 tbsp cacao nibs
1 tbsp chopped df dark

Toppings:
Cacao buckwheat granola
Chocolate peanut butter

Method:
1. Blend together smoothie ingredients, besides the chocolate until just combined and creamy, once creamy add in chocolate and cacao nibs and blend for a few seconds until just combined
2. Pour into a bowl
3. Add toppings and enjoy!
