When I was a kid, I usually scooped the strawberry only and the left the chocolate and vanilla for everyone else. 😌
I made this a couple of years ago and lately I have noticed that this flavour has been trending, so I thought I was worth sharing the recipe again. 💘
Serves 2 | V GF DF RSF
Ingredients:
4 1/2 frozen bananas
1 1/2 tbsp maple syrup
1/4 cup almond milk
1 tsp vanilla bean extract
1 tbsp cacao
1/2 cup frozen strawberries
Toppings:
Cacao nibs
Vegan chocolate
Strawberries
Method:
1. Add bananas, maple syrup and almond milk and blend until just combined and creamy
2. Separate 1 third of the nice cream into separate bowl and put in freezer
3. Scoop another third into a bowl
4. With the remaining in the blender add strawberries and blend and pour into the bowl with vanilla nice cream
5. Add the remaining third of the nice cream from the freezer and blend with cacao
6. Add the chocolate nice cream into the bowl and add toppings
