The dream Sunday brunch situation. It tastes as good as it sounds 😍
Serves 2 DF RSF
Ingredients:
4 pieces sourdough bread
1 egg
1/4 cup almond milk
1 1/2 tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla bean extract
1/2 tbsp coconut oil
1 tsp cinnamon
Toppings:
Strawberries
Coconut yoghurt
Method:
Melt the coconut oil and whisk together with the ingredients in a bowl.
Preheat a fry pan, microwave the sourdough for 5-10 seconds (this makes the bread softer and soaks more) soak both sides of the sourdough in the mixture.
Add little coconut oil to the pan and add toast. Once one side has browned, flip and repeat until done.
Serve the toast and add the toppings!
