I put this on my stories a few days ago and I was so happy to hear you guys wanting a recipe. So as per your request, thin mints açai bowl!
Serves 1 | V GF DF RSF
Ingredients:
• 1 frozen banana
• 1 frozen açai packet
• 1 tbsp cacao
• 1 tbsp almond butter
• 1 medjool date
• Handful fresh mint
• 1 tbsp cacao nibs
• 1/4 cup coconut water
• Handful ice cubes
Toppings:
• Banana
• Granola
• Espresso almond cacao butter
Method:
1. Add açai ingredients to the blender and blend until just combined and creamy.
2. Serve and add toppings.
Tips:
Use a high speed blender/ food processor. If it seems a bit empty in your jug (this recipe is based off a vitamix), add more banana.
If you want your smoothie bowl to stay frozen longer, try use a plastic style bowl, I like to place mine in the freezer just before making my smoothies!
Also have all your toppings and fruit already chopped and ready to assemble beforehand, you basically want to pour it out and go!
