Asha-what smoothie bowl? If you haven’t heard of this herb before, it is an adaptogen. It’s prized for its stress management benefits, helping to reduce anxiety and lower inflammation.

And what is an adaptogen? Adaptogens are really just plants and fungi, which can effect the body differently depending on its state. The bizarre thing about adaptogens is that they have a dual effect, they can calm you down, while at the same time give you energy. Plus they can help hormonal imbalances, digestive issues, and can even have a positive effect your libido!

If that isn’t enough incentive to try, this bowl tastes like a warm vanilla caramel spiced treat. If you don’t have any adaptogens at home, just swap with a caramel protein for a similar creamy flavour.
