Creamy caramel cashew butter made from just 3 ingredients – caramel, maca and vanilla. This was something I didn’t know I needed until I made it. I can’t wait to use this in and on everything.
Serves 375g | V DF GF RSF
Ingredients:
• 3 cups / 450g cashews
• 1 tsp vanilla bean extract
• 1 1/2 tsp maca powder
Method:
- Preheat oven to 180°C / 356°F
- Pour cashews on to a baking tray. Roast the cashews in the oven for 15 minutes or until golden
- Let them sit until they’ve completely cooled
- Add to food processor with vanilla, maca powder and blend until creamy
- Pour into a jar and seal tight
Tip:
Not all blenders or food processors can handle nut butters, if you find your machine is getting to hot; turn it off and let it cool down, then blend again!
